Grandma and the metric system.
Grandma Emma learned the metric system as a child....she still used this at 95 years young...amazing what we learn as children we use our entire life...

March 1st...favorite saying...
On March 1st, Grandma Emma had another favorite saying...."In like a Lion, out like a Lamb" If it was good weather on the first, it was: "In like a Lamb, out like a Lion".... She always thought this was a nice way to welcome Spring.
