Grandma Emma's days, continued.

My mind was wandering as I stood in the garden watering some newly planted bamboo and peppermint. Thinking of all the good advice I received from Grandma Emma on tending the garden. She always had a carefully chosen answer. Most of the time it was based on the frugality of life, even garden life. Turning the soil, filling it with leaves and mulch. Always adding just the right amount of water. Turns out she was correct most of the time. Even now I use those simple garden practices to achieve my goals for a working and delightful yard.
